Welcome to TrekChalo. By booking any trip, trek, or service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
1. Booking Policy
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by TrekChalo.
A booking amount, as mentioned by TrekChalo according to the specific tour package, is required to confirm your participation.
The remaining amount must be paid at the pickup location, before the start of the journey.
If the full payment is not made at the pickup point, TrekChalo reserves the right to cancel your participation without any refund.
Bookings are non-transferable unless approved in writing by TrekChalo.
Confirmation of booking implies acceptance of all terms and conditions mentioned herein.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the Participant:
30 days or more before departure: Full refund after deducting processing charges.
15–29 days before departure: 50% refund.
7–14 days before departure: 25% refund.
Less than 7 days: No refund.
Cancellation by TrekChalo:
If TrekChalo cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances (natural calamities, political unrest, etc.), you will be eligible for a full refund or credit note (your choice).
- Refund will be automatically Credited on your original payment method within 10 business days
We are not liable for any expenses incurred (travel, accommodation, etc.) outside the package.
3. Group Tour Code of Conduct
In group tours, time management is crucial to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Participants are expected to strictly follow the schedule and instructions provided by the TrekChalo team.
Delays caused by individual participants can disrupt the itinerary for the entire group, so punctuality is mandatory.
Repeated disregard of timing or instructions may lead to exclusion from certain activities, without any refund.
4. Change in Itinerary
The itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions, group capability, safety concerns, or unforeseen events.
TrekChalo reserves the right to modify or cancel the itinerary at any point in the interest of group safety and coordination.
5. Health and Fitness
Participants must disclose any medical conditions or physical limitations prior to booking.
TrekChalo reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit or who may compromise the safety of the group.
Trekking requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. Consult your doctor if unsure.
6. Risk and Liability
Trekking and travel involve inherent risks including but not limited to weather conditions, wildlife encounters, and terrain challenges.
By booking with TrekChalo, you accept all risks associated with the trip.
TrekChalo will not be liable for injury, death, loss of personal belongings, or any other damages arising during the trip.
7. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the package. We strongly recommend obtaining insurance covering personal accidents, medical emergencies, loss of belongings, and trip cancellations.
8. Conduct and Behavior
Participants are expected to behave respectfully with fellow travelers, guides, and locals.
Alcohol, smoking, and drug use during treks are strictly prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
TrekChalo reserves the right to remove any participant from the group for misconduct or safety reasons without refund.
9. Responsibility of Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings throughout the trip.
TrekChalo is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
10. Photography and Media
TrekChalo reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any promotional material, please notify us in advance.

TrekChalo shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations due to:
Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, landslides)
Political unrest or government restrictions
Pandemic or epidemic conditions
Other unforeseeable events beyond our control
13. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a trip with TrekChalo, you confirm that:
You have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
You are physically and mentally fit for the chosen activity.
You agree to comply with instructions from TrekChalo’s team during the trip.
